Give & Get AwayGive & Get Away offers guests the opportunity for personal intimate involvement in green activities while staying at a Vail Resorts' property. We help arrange half or full-day programs in activities such as rebuilding trails, tree planting and many other conservation efforts. Guest DonationGuests are offered the opportunity to donate $1 when they purchase season passes, buy tickets online, play a round of golf at one of our golf courses or stay at one of our lodging properties. In Colorado and in South Lake Tahoe, the donation goes directly to our partnership with the National Forest Foundation and has generated more than $1.7 million in contributions to forest health projects in local communities. Ski with a RangerTo enhance the outdoor experience, we offer guests the chance to ski with a US Forest Service ranger. The program brings guests the unique opportunity to view wild habitats and gain knowledge about the forests that make up our resort areas. Nature Discovery CenterLocated in an all-seasons yurt adjacent to the Eagles Nest gondola atop Vail Mountain, the Nature Discovery Center has provided visitors with meaningful access to the wonders of the natural world since opening its doors in 2000. The Nature Discovery Center is a partnership between Vail Resorts,Walking Mountains (formerly Gore Range Natural Science School) and the White River National Forest. | Green GolfAll seven Vail Resorts' golf courses are certified within the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary program which requires standards in construction and operation in areas such as habitat restoration, community stewardship and environmental practices.
